I was looking at pictures from a gallery at Wired and came across a picture of a Playboy magazine that is in braille. This got my imagination going on what exactly a blind person would need a Playboy for. I'm assuming it is just the articles but I still have to wonder.

Of course there are many humorous things you can think about. Are the beautiful nude models expressed in raised relief like mountains on a globe? Are there patches of hair to be felt like in one of my toddler's books about animals? Or is it just the award winning articles all of us men read Playboy for? If it is the latter two then they should do that for regular Playboy as well.

If the braille edition does include naked women in braille, does a blind person know what they are "looking" at? I guess if they became blind later in life or had experience with the naked female form but if you were born blind probably not.

This did strike me as very odd but I guess the blind have a right to "view" pornography just like the rest of us. If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it.
