I cannot believe it has been this long since I have posted anything. What a bed person I am but in my defense, my personal life has been way beyond hectic and continues to be that way. But a lot has gone on in the world and felt it necessary to at least say something.

So in the past month we have had some big name stars pass away. The first to go was David Carradine, most remembered for playing "Grasshopper" in the TV series Kung Fu and of course Bill from Kill Bill Volume 1 and 2. He apparently died being naughty with himself. The we had Ed McMahon which we know from the Johnny Carson Show. Next to go was Farrah Fawcett best known for her role in Charlie's Angels. She fought cancer bravely but in the end you don't beat cancer. The next day Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest which appears now to be caused by a narcotic used for surgeries. A lot more will come out of that mess. And finally Billy Mays died of heart disease. Billy Mays, of course, is known for his infomercials. So a lot of death in the celebrity world. The only one I was expecting was Farrah but that is how death is.

Enough of that crap, in the IT world, pricing for Windows 7 was announced and surprisingly enough it is cheaper than Vista was. Here is the breakdown:

• Windows 7 Home Premium - $199
  • Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade - $119
• Windows 7 Professional - $299
  • Windows 7 Professional Upgrade - $199
• Windows 7 Ultimate - $319
  • Windows 7 Ultimate - $219

Not exactly cheap stuff but not bank breaking. Microsoft also dumped its three running application limit that was going to be imposed on the edition geared for netbooks. Smart move in my opinion but I liked the idea.

In website updates, I was working on a re-design of the site a while back but stopped working on it due to my busy life. I hope to get back to it. The main goal of the re-design was to improve usability. I made some improvements in navigation and the structure of the tutorial section. I also have a few new tutorials in the works. So wish me luck on finding time to get back to it.
