Tomorrow the KKK is set to have a rally here in Washington DC. Apparently they do it every year. So of course the Capitol Police are ramping up operations to be sure everything goes smoothly. But they are not beefing up security because of the KKK.

From what I have read and have been told most KKK marches are relatively peaceful. Yes they come and they spout their message of hate but they do not cause any problems. What the Capitol Police are more worried about is the anti-protesters. They are the ones that cause the ruckus.

I find this to be fascinating. A hateful group of people come to demonstrate which is their right under the Constitution but we have to worry about the people coming to protest their demonstration. I am not a supporter of the KKK or what they stand for but I do support people's rights. Why can't the KKK come and do their thing and everyone leave them alone? Is it that hard?

Yes I know the KKK is a bunch of angry pissed off white men who hate just about everything that isn't white. They use hot topics like illegal immigration, same sex marriage and urban crime to get people riled up. Personally I would be more worried about other white supremest groups coming and getting all amped up by a fiery KKK sermon and going buck wild on an unsuspecting minority. Skin Heads in my opinion are more violent than the KKK is. Or even the neo-Nazi's. Those are the ones I worry about. The Klan isn't what it used to be back in the day.

The poor Capitol Police will have to be vigilant so the KKK can do their thing and get the hell out of the city without an incident. I wish them luck.
