4. Installation

4.1 Installing Norton Ghost 2003

The following steps walk through the installation process of Norton Ghost 2003.

1. Insert the Norton Ghost 2003 CD
2. Open up My Computer and right click your CD drive. Select Open from the drop down window.
3. Double click setup.exe to start Norton Ghost 2003. The following screen should appear.

4. Click on the Next button and the following screen will appear

5. Read the License Agreement and select ‘I accept the terms in the license agreement’ and click the Next button.

6. Type in a User Name and Organization and click the Next button.

7. Click the Next button to accept the default installation path or click the Change button to choose an alternate location.

8. Click the Next button to begin the installation process.

9. Once the installation completes, the registration window will open.

10. Click on the Skip button to cancel the registration process. This can be completed later and is not needed to image computers.

11. Click on the Yes button to continue the registration cancellation process.

12. Click on the Next button to finalize the installation process.

13. Click on the Finish button to complete the installation.

Norton Ghost 2003 is now installed and ready to use.
