First is a site update. In my feeble attempt to get people to sign up I have created a forum. The forum has a place for general discussion along with a place to discuss tech things such as Windows problems. I have no real hope this will help attract users but at least I am trying. In order to post in the forums you must sign up for an account. Registration is free.

The second thing is a trend I have noticed recently. There is an article of clothing women wear that are kind of between pants and shorts. I believe the term for them is culottes. I have no issue with women wearing them but lately I have noticed men wearing a version of them. This is troubling. Doing a bit of research on it I learned back in the 18th century culottes were used in military uniforms. Well this is the 21st century and culottes don't have a place in mens fashion.

The culottes I typically see men wearing are made of jean material. It ends up looking like you are wearing extremely long shorts or really short pants. Neither of which in my opinion is cool. What makes this even more humorous to me is the men I see wearing them can be classified as "gangsta". You know who I am talking about. Young black men who could fit in with any rapper's entourage. I'm sorry but I find it difficult to believe you can be gangsta wearing an article of women's clothing. It is one thing to walk around with your ass hanging out of your pants and shorts but to wear something that was designed to be worn by women just isn't cool.

Call me old-fashioned or old but I don't see wear this is normal. Someone said culottes are big in European fashion for men. Well, the last I checked this is America and not Europe. If you want to wear women's clothing and not be ridiculed, move to Europe or San Francisco.

While I am on the subject, people who wear baseball hats crooked irritate the hell out of me. It looks like they are retarded and just learned to dress themselves. I just don't get it. It doesn't look cool to me. But what the hell do I know?

Seriously though, does anyone think this is cool? I can't be the only guy out there who thinks this is retarded.
