Some People's Kids

I enjoy heading over to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (CoFSM) website and read the stuff they post. Now I am not a "Pastafarian" but I do like what they stand for. What I mostly enjoy is the hate mail that site gets on a daily basis, all of it is posted. Most of it comes from supporters of the Christian faith, while others just don't get it.

Why is there not enough time in a day?

I have a pretty ambitious idea for my home network. As most computer geeks, I have a lot of hardware not being used. I have ideas on what to use the hardware for. The problem is, I don't have enough time to accomplish it. I work a full-time job and I have a wife and three kids. I don't get home until 7PM during the week which doesn't leave me a lot of time in the evenings to spend time with my family and do this project. The weekends are spent doing household projects or spending time with the family. I need more time in a day.

I Had a Reality Check

By now a lot of you may have heard about an event that happened here in Washington D.C. on Friday. Things happening here aren't all that out of the ordinary but Friday's event made something very clear to me.

Car Insurance and Your Pets

While watching television last night I caught a commercial from Progressive Auto Insurance. I'm sure most of you have seen these commercials. They claim to save you hundreds on your insurance by showing you comparison's of different insurance companies. They even state they are not always the cheapest. But what I saw last night struck me as extremely absurd.

Playboy in Braille?

I was looking at pictures from a gallery at Wired and came across a picture of a Playboy magazine that is in braille. This got my imagination going on what exactly a blind person would need a Playboy for. I'm assuming it is just the articles but I still have to wonder.
