I Hate Wallpaper

My wife and I just bought our first house. The downstairs bathroom was done in a pretty ugly wallpaper by my standards. My wife says it was classy. Either way we both didn't like it and agreed it needed to go. I woke up this morning and my wife had started taking down the wallpaper. I decided to help her out and things were going really well. That is until we hit one wall. The wallpaper was refusing to come up nicely and some of the paint started coming up with it. Now we have one wall that is down to bare drywall in places.

Systems Administrator Day

If you work anywhere where there are computers there is bound to be a SysAdmin nearby who maintains the complex system you take for granted every day. Today you should hunt him/her down and thank them for their hard work. I guarantee some SysAdmin will be woken up this weekend to restore an e-mail server or rebuild a server at some ungodly hour of the day. So please, have a soul and thank these hard working individuals. It is rare that a SysAdmin is thanked for what they do, mostly because most people have no idea what they do.

Happy SysAdmin Day my fellow SysAdmins out there.

What did I do?

Every so often I like to change things here at GrinchyNet.  I decided I would mess around with CMS since it is all the rage.  I spent a good deal of time at OpenSourceCMS and tested a lot of different CMS packages. The one I ended up liking is what you see here. GrinchyNet is now powered by Website Baker. This was the easiest to setup and configure. The hardest part was finding a theme I liked.
